January-February-March

Happy New Year!, etc... Decided that monthly blog updates are insane. :)
From now on - hopefully - 3 month updates will be a success! So - here we go...

Gracie enjoyed watching the Super Bowl with all of our friends & neighbors - except when anything exciting would happen! Was not a fan of the outbursts of excitement...She'll learn.

Nole Season is rapidly approaching so we must start working on our chop!

Gracie helped Daddy celebrate his birthday - her favorite part was the cake!

Gracie received a Family Membership to the Baltimore National Aquarium so we all went to see the Dolphin Show! She loves it! We have spent many a day there since and her smiles are just as big every time. With each visit we also seem to have a few more teeth so that helps too! :)

Awhile back - we decided that the pizza place we had been going to was awful. It had been quite some time since we attempted another place but at the recommendation of a local joint called Franks - we gave it a whirl. From the outside it certainly doesn't look like much & is located in a strip mall but once inside the whole feeling changes. We were really impressed with not only the food but also the atmosphere and the owners & staff. We now spend our Friday nights there and Gracie loves it! The owner even makes sure that Gracie gets her mini cannoli - which she LOVES!

Gracie has started helping me in the kitchen - she's really cute - when she "cooks" she always smells her food - that or she's mimicking me taste testing! Either way - it cracks me up and she

loves it.

My little helper.

Daddy's little helper too!

In between her cooking sessions she likes to jam out on her keyboard. Who knew you sounded so much better when you played nude!

Daddy is making sure that Gracie stays up on her technology.

She shows him a thing or two as well.

With January & February came snow! Daddy was super excited about it but I had my reservations. Last year at that time I was stuck in the house with an infant and needless to say - it was not awesome. This year however - we all enjoyed it a lot more!
Not quite sure what to make of it at first...

NOT a fan of her snowsuit - until she got outside...

and saw Mrs. T!

Then Daddy decided to teach Gracie to eat snow

She's not impressed...

We were also able to get some sledding in this year! Steve decided to break out the big guns & inflate the 3 man tube we have.

Had a BLAST flying down the hill on that thing!

NOT so much fun carrying it back up though :)

Here are some other things Gracie has been up to lately:

Books & Puzzles are quickly becoming some of her favorite things!

Gracie tried ice cream and we think it's pretty evident what she thought of it:

We decided to invest in a storm door for the front of the house - thinking Gracie might enjoy being able to look out at the neighborhood action and we could in turn enjoy the nice Spring breezes! We ALL love it and Gracie has since been seen quite frequently checking things out:

Daddy is the best!

We are staying VERY busy but we are enjoying every moment! See ya in June!

Love to all! xoxo

12th Month

Things have not slowed down in the least!
This update is LONG overdue and I apologize for that. Needless to say things have been a bit busy for us in the Miller household. Right after Gracie's fabulous first birthday celebration came Thanksgiving! We were able to head down to Dad's in Nova and spent some time with family and friends there. Gracie had recently found her feet and alllll the places she could now go! This included places she shouldn't like stairs but that didn't stop her!
Tabi enjoyed her time snuggled up...

Gracie even showed Great Grandma where to go

After Thanksgiving we had a visit from Nana Spalton! Thankfully Nana was able to help out with Gracie for several weeks. We had an unexpected absence from Ms. T due to her hip surgery and as a result Gracie got to spend lots of time with Nana - and we got to do an early Christmas celebration with her as well! We all had fun - Nana and Gracie especially!

Who's more excited??
LOVED her phone! "HI!"

The Miller family hit the road for Gracie's first real road trip! We headed South to North Carolina to spend the Christmas holiday in a cabin with some other Millers! We had a ball and hope to be able to do it again someday. We had lots of adventures and got to enjoy LOTS of snow! Gracie enjoyed her time too - especially when Grandma Miller made her hot chocolate! YUM!

Gracie was able to see her first petting zoo - Bunny!
She loved all the animals!

Christmas Day!

Opening presents is exhausting!

Snuggle time with Daddy...

We wound up having to leave the mountains a day early because of the snowfall! Unexpected night in a hotel room = fun with water bottles! Everything else was packed! :)

Gracie has been eating lots of new things with the arrival of new teeth! Including pasta! YUM!

Once we got back from the Miller Christmas we then headed back to Dad's in Nova for the Noone Christmas! Gracie spent some time getting to know Stinky...

We also took some time to capture a family photo -

Everyone is happy, healthy & ready for a new year!

Love to all!
