10 Months

Happy 10 Months Lovie Girl!

Gracie is having a blast these days - staying super busy and keeping us on our toes every step of the way - her steps I might add! Not stepping alone quite yet but that is more than fine with Dad & I! SO not ready for that yet...

Still teething like crazy but doing pretty well with it overall - keys help evidently :)

We've been busy spending time with friends & friends to be! :)
Hurry up Aunt Rosie & cook that kid! I need someone to play with!

The dishwasher is non-stop entertainment. Not quite sure what the draw is there but she is obsessed. For now. I can probably bet money that once the dishes become a chore suddenly the dishwasher interest will wane...But its super fun for now!

SO last month we started standing...this month we are holding on (for dear life) and walking :) Yet another fun milestone!

Gracie is really into playing & walking & moving. So much so that things like eating, well...she just doesn't have time for eating! Get me outta this chair!!

Tupperware is still a fave:

Ms. T went on her own beach vacation so that meant that Grandma Noone got to come and spend a couple of days with us! They had lots of fun especially after Grandma Noone brought her a purse! Gracie had a blast opening & closing the purse and taking everything in & out of it. Especially the money! We are in big trouble! haha....

In early September Gracie got to go on another plane ride! This time to see family in Florida :)

So of course that means we got some beach time! So much fun and she loved it! The water - the waves - everything but the sand in her mouth :)

Not only did the water babe get her beach time in but we also had fun going out on Grandpa & Grandma Miller's boat! SO fun! Gracie plans on catching Grandpa a BIG Dolphin next time we come down.

Our trip to FL was a blast - we had tons of fun and hope to make it down again sometime soon!

We finally got around to hanging our pictures from Gracie's 2 month photo shoot! Gracie now LOVES saying "hi" to herself as we go up & down the stairs...Really cute to see her eyes light up once she realizes it's her. :)

And...that is about it for this month. It's been a very busy one! Till next time...

9 Months

Whew! What a month its been! :)
We had a doctor's appointment and Ms. Gracie is a whopping 18lbs & 27 & 1/4 inches long!

This month has been ALL about exploration and discovery. She is mobile & into it all! Super exciting and fun to watch her discover her world around her. Gracie is mega into tearing into things and taking them apart - opening doors, drawers & tubs. Basically anything & everything is fair game. Needless to say that has initiated mega baby proofing in the Miller household. We thought we had done an OK job...HA! We had no idea just how much this little lady could get into. The notion of "...oh she can't open that..." is long gone! Steve and I are thinking we are both in the wrong business. Time to open up a baby proofing gig & make millions! :)

Not only are we exploring everything but we are standing on our own now...albeit with the aid of something but standing. As a result we stand & pull up on everything we can get our cute, pudgy little hands on.

We are super into texture too. Gracie loves the way the fabric from her pack & play feels on her lips & tongue...its very funny to watch her run her mouth over the fabric. We think it tickles her because we get to hear her giggle when she does it which is super cute. Love that she's having such a good time!

Amidst the smiles & giggles we do get a serious Gracie now & again...though not often:

We are working on the word "no" & what it means. Though right now it basically means that we get a big smile & an acknowledgement that we are speaking then....well right back to business. :)

We are discovering snacks and loving them! Tabi loves her some snacks too...clearly:

Food is becoming more enjoyable as we are now starting to venture into real stuff...like spaghetti & cheese!
